Calseatec Pro
Calseatec Pro is a dietetic bolus product used orally in dairy cows at risk of hypocalcemia to reduce the risk of postpartum subclinical hypocalcemia. Calseatec Pro contains three different levels of highly bioavailable soluble calcium salts, intestinal flora stabilizer, energy sources and components for supporting the energy cycle. It releases within 90 minutes and provides calcium support through three sources: immediate support with calcium formate, mid-term support with tricalcium phosphate, and long-term support with Lithothamn.
Indications
• Provides continuous calcium support with three calcium sources that have three different rates of blood diffusion.
• Supports rapid postpartum involution.
• Effectively supports phosphorus requirements through a highly bioavailable phosphorus source.
• Contributes to liver functions and supports energy metabolism.
• Provides glycogenic primary energy source.
• Helps manage heat stress.
• Ensures a linear increase in milk yield after birth, which is usually irregular.
• Supports natural placental expulsion after birth, minimizing retained placenta occurrence.
• Helps buffer rumen pH to optimal levels thanks to its antacid properties.
• Supports rumen development.
• Supports the growth of cellulolytic bacteria in the rumen microflora, aiding better fiber digestion.
• Protects cells from harmful effects of free radicals due to its antioxidant properties.
• Provides effective support in epilepsy treatment.
Dosage and Administration
• Administer two boluses at the onset of calving signs and/or immediately after calving. If necessary, one additional bolus may be given every 12 hours.
• If a calcium injection has been administered, give one bolus 2 hours after the injection and another bolus 12 hours later.
• Do not administer the bolus to animals that are lying due to hypocalcemia.
